The Compensation and Benefits Analyst is responsible for assisting with the design, deployment and administration of all compensation and benefits programs. Providing effective support in analyzing, planning, developing, benchmarking, and executing the programs. This role will report to the Associate Director of Human Resources and will be an integral part of the Crinetics’ Human Resources team.


These may include but are not limited to:

*  Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company compensation programs, policies, and procedures
*  Audit job content in job descriptions
*  Participate in compensation activities such as annual salary survey input, pay structure analysis and maintenance
*  Review proposed salary adjustments for conformance to established guidelines and recommend corrective actions to resolve compensation-related problems
*  Recommend company salary structure, salary increase budgets, and FLSA exemptions
*  Conduct special studies and make recommendations on subjects such as incentive compensation, bonus plans, sales compensation, or stock options
*  Administer and communicate the company’s benefits program plan options, features, and enrollment requirements
*  Administer, configure, and maintain the performance management section of the HRIS system
*  Assist employees with benefit claim administration inquiries
*  Analyze cost containment strategies
*  Design analytics to help ensure retention, and oversight of compensation philosophy and pay practices to insure equitable and competitive employee compensation
*  Ensure company compliance with federal and state laws governing both compensation and benefits practices including HIPAA, COBRA, ERISA and FMLA
*  Play a key role in the annual renewal and open enrollment process, assisting with communication to employees, system testing, and review of open enrollment communication materials
*  Work closely with Management and Finance to perform accurate and timely compliance audits, reconciliation, and submission of billing for benefits carriers
*  Monitor benefit payroll deductions to ensure accuracy
Assist with leave of absence and disability claim administration in accordance with company policy, as well as state and federal law
*  Respond to benefits inquiries from employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries
*  Assist in new hire orientation, communicating information about the company’s compensation and benefits packages and policies


·  Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience in HR (an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered) ·  In depth experience in compensation as well as benefits practices ·  Deep financial acumen and analytical skills ·   Strong project management skills
·  Experience with Microsoft Office applications and information systems to include manager and employee self-service application expertise in HRIS/payroll shared services best practices
·  Experience with Radford Life Sciences survey a plus
·  CBP or CEBS certifications a plus
·   Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
·   Excellent verbal and written communications skills, as well as organizational and planning skills
·   Understanding of various methods of financing benefit plans and the impact on company financials
